Planned gifts are opportunities to establish a lasting legacy at Cal Poly. Such gifts benefit students and faculty for generations to come. The four basic types of gifts are described below. A list of COSAM planned gifts follows. If you would like more information or wish to discuss a planned gift, please visit the University's Planned Giving Web site
Life Income Gifts
The Cal Poly Foundation offers several types of income-producing gift plans. Discover how your gift of cash, stock or other property to Cal Poly can provide you and a loved one with annual income.
Your will or living trust can be a vehicle through which to make charitable gifts.
With endowment gifts, the principal is held in perpetuity, with part of the annual earnings generating ongoing support for activities designated by the donor.
Real Estate Gifts
Real Estate Gifts may be made outright, made as a retained residence, or made as a charitable remainder
