Warren J. Baker Center

Every Cal Poly student will take a class in the Baker Center, giving them an excellent foundation in science and mathematics that will allow them to pursue innovative projects in their majors.

Current Students

To succeed at Cal Poly, you need to study two hours per unit per week, or 25-35 hours per week. That's 40-50 total hours per week, which is similar to high school and the equivalent of a full-time job. Here are study guides and printouts to aid in your student success

Majors

The College of Science and Mathematics offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs. We offer degrees in the sciences of biology, chemistry, kinesiology, physics, mathematics, and statistics. We're also home to the university's undergraduate Liberal Studies program and Cal Poly's post-baccalaureate School of Education.

Tours

The College of Science and Mathematics tours are led by college ambassadors every Monday and Friday (Our regular college tours are not offered during campus holidays, first week of the quarter, final exam week, when classes are not in session and during the summer or summer quarter). Tours meet at 10:10 a.m. at the University Union building - outside at the Mustang Statue and last approximately 1 hour long. Please note: Our college tours do not require reservations.
